Refund policy

We want you to love your BabyBoo order. This policy explains your rights under South African law and how returns and refunds work. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT Act).

1. Cooling-off period (7 days)
Under section 44 of the ECT Act, you may cancel your order without giving a reason and without penalty within 7 days of receiving your goods. Let us know by email at info@babyboo.co.za and return the item to us. The only charge you are responsible for is the direct cost of returning the goods. We will refund you within 30 days of receiving your cancellation.

2. Change of mind (up to 14 days)
Because some of our products are used for feeding, change-of-mind returns are accepted up to 14 days after delivery only for items that are unused and in their original packaging. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is for your account.

3. Damaged or faulty items (6 months)
If your item arrives damaged, is defective, or stops working properly within 6 months of delivery, you are entitled under section 56 of the CPA to choose a repair, a replacement or a full refund. We will cover the cost of returning a faulty item. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if your parcel arrives damaged, and include photos so we can sort it out quickly.

This does not cover normal wear and tear of teats and tubes, or damage caused by misuse, such as boiling parts beyond the recommended time, using sharp objects to clean the bottle tube, or puncturing the inflatable seat.

4. Wrong item received
If we sent you the wrong item, contact us and we will send the correct one at no cost to you and arrange collection of the wrong item.

5. Free gifts
The free silicone bottle brush included with your order is yours to keep, even if you return the rest of your order.

6. How to start a return
1) Email info@babyboo.co.za with your order number, the reason for the return and photos if the item is damaged or faulty.
2) We will reply within 1 business day with the return address and next steps.
3) Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as we may not be able to match them to your order.

7. Refunds
Once we receive and check the returned item, we will refund you to your original payment method. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days, and always within 30 days as required by the ECT Act. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the money in your account.
